Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the rules made thereunder, Hiyan Enterprises Pvt Ltd has appointed a Grievance Officer to address concerns and complaints relating to the processing of your personal data and your use of the GulSuite Service.

To help us resolve your complaint quickly, please include: your name and registered email/account, a description of your concern, and any relevant details (such as dates or screenshots).

2. What You Can Raise

• Exercising your rights as a Data Principal — access, correction, completion, erasure, or nomination (see our Privacy Policy, Section 6).
• Withdrawal of consent to the processing of your personal data.
• Concerns about how your personal data is collected, used, stored, shared, or secured.
• Questions about our sub-processors (see the Sub-Processor Register).
• Any other grievance relating to your personal data or the Service.

3. Our Response Timelines

• We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours of receipt.
• We will resolve your complaint within the timelines prescribed under the DPDP Act and its Rules, and in any case within 30 days.

4. Escalation to the Data Protection Board of India

If you are not satisfied with the resolution provided by our Grievance Officer, or if your grievance is not addressed within the prescribed time, you have the right to escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India established under the DPDP Act, 2023, in the manner prescribed by the Act and its Rules.

5. For Business Customers

If you are a business using GulSuite to process the personal data of your own customers, staff or suppliers, you are the Data Fiduciary for that data and we act as your Data Processor. Grievances from your data principals should, in the first instance, be directed to you. We will support you in meeting your obligations under our Data Processing Addendum — contact [email protected].
